Lolita Wildin is an award winning artist and designer with works in collections around Australia and overseas. Her backround is from the graphic art and design industry but now pursues the fine arts, with a passion in both En Plein Air (painting outdoors on location) and studio
work.

“Whilst I love painting in the studio for detailed pieces, going outdoors to paint brings a fundamental element to painting by capturing the feel and atmosphere of the subject-
the sounds and smells and movement. The cold, the heat, the wind and rain all add to the experience and is expressed in the painting.”

Lolita likes to gather photographic references on her travels with her inspiration coming mainly from the beauty of nature and the play of light on her subjects.
